Wardrobe Box Video
For our clients who prefer to do some or all of their own packing, Jay’s Moving Saskatchewan sells a full range of moving supplies including regular moving boxes and specialty cartons. One of our most popular specialty cartons is the wardrobe box, which is designed to carry your clothing securely on hangers.
We frequently get inquiries about our wardrobe box from people who have a hard time figuring out how to assemble it. They aren’t sure why the flaps appear to be uneven, or where exactly they should place the bar.
We’ve often heard that showing is better than telling, so we made this short video to demonstrate how to assemble a wardrobe box properly. Jay’s Regional Manager, Terry, and our packing expert, Ashley also give some tips on what else (other than clothes) can be packed into a wardrobe box.
Once you’ve got it put together, you will be happy with how easy it is to load your clothes, on their hangers, right into the box – and then you will be even happier when you arrive at your new home and can simply pop them out of the wardrobe box and into your new closet. Because they are transported on hangers, your clothes will be just as wrinkle free as when you packed them.
